Happy New Year~ Even though this isn’t the solar new year, it’s still a threshold of much significance! It feels like a time of reassessment and clarification.

As this year comes to a close which we knows is really a continuation, I want to thank you for being here.

My first year on Substack has come and gone, and it’s been so lovely to see all the interest and support for my writing & artwork! What a joy it is to share.

I remember being afraid - who would want to support my writing & art, and would what I share be enough? I said screw it at some point, and gave it a go. I'm grateful and honored that so many of you said yes, it is enough... and joined me here. <3

Whether you’re a free or paid subscriber, I'm so grateful for your presence, and your comments, witnessing, and just showing interest in my art and updates. <3

I plan to continue to keep this space as a general place for sharing my writing, ideas, art, poetry, practices & more!

Substack is more of a home for my writing with a sprinkling of art and more of a flow, whereas my Patreon is more of a home for my art & intentional offerings with a sprinkling of writing.

As a place of supportive structure and consistency for those of us who like communal accountability and promptings to tune into the body & practices, my Patreon was born - originally created intended to help me afford the time, energy and support to make the Embodied Ecosystems Tarot actually finally happen, while giving y’all early peeks and access to practices!

Now that the deck is in production, and you’ll soon have the real deal in your own hands (read my latest Kickstarter update(s) on deck-specific production here), the next chapter can unfold - one of deepening, co-regulating and continued creating.

Astrology may be cosmic, but it's impacts and origins are Earthly. Earth is central to the seasons & cycles of our understanding of western astrology.

It seems complex, but at the same time it’s cyclical, and is simply an ancient reflection of our intuitive and embodied nature. The zodiac wheel evokes the seasons and phases of life through our larger planetary bodies - giving us layers of insight and awareness.

Whenever I hear about what's going on astrologically, it comes and goes from my mind in moments. I'm only aware of the transit in that instance of reading or listening about it, and then I forget. Because information taken in without the senses doesn't stay.

You already embody your reaction to the transit… but how we can embody a relationship to the transit? How can we make sure OUR own body is included and tended to within external yet interconnected influences?

That's where my methodology of embodied Embodied Astro-Tarot Cycles & Rooted Reminders comes in! I am bridging a gap between astrology, tarot & embodiment, to bring us into deeper inter-personal awareness.

Divination or “random” card-pulling is valuable, and I wanted to create a system that has clearer card-associations beyond the major arcana - for every card and transit combination possibility too. I share guidance and tools with from my method to add visceral visuals to the transiting planetary aspects through embodied tarot allies and symbolism.

My focus here is around FINDING PRESENCE IN PATTERNS through ROOTED REMINDERS: grounding cosmic clarity into our embodied ecology through visceral visuals.

Rooted Reminders are here to help us remember, reconnect to and integrate our expansive embodied ecology & cosmology through the intersectional lens of visual art, astrology and tarot. - Astro-Tarot Calendars will go out monthly at the start of each calendar month (stay tuned for January’s~!) - here to help you connect the dots between the cosmic, personal and ecological happenings, so you can remain aware and choose how you want to resource and engage via reflection, practices, etc.
