I asked the Earth...
a poem for you on the threshold of expectation
a poem for you during this last day of the calendar year -
where we are asked to reflect and review, set goals and “start anew”…
a reminder that there is no true new year,
only a continued cycle with places to pause or pivot… 💗
I asked the Earth ”am I enough?” and I didn’t get a reply. yet the silence awakened my senses, and I noticed the answer is this; if I can remember the Earth, I am remembering my worth as an intrinsic part not separate, not forgotten.
A lot of my work has been and continues to be about cycles of awareness and reminders of embodied truths that get lost in the hyper-cognitive world of today.
