This is me before & after my practices π πΏππ€
After letting this intuitively come out as a practice in itself, I felt the visceral grounding of the surrender visualization.
And every time I look at it now it reminds me of the important beyond the resistance of letting go.
Later that day I went for a walk,
and I saw these shapes reflected in the trees and leaves.
Sensory signals truly anchor me - and after years of doubting that I can teach all that I study, practice, experience and learn⦠I realize that my visuals are the medium through which I learn and teach.
I think all humans, but especially neurodivergents like myself, learn best when multiple senses are activated in the process of learning.
This is why I am so focused on visual cues in the Cyclical Mindfulness Method, and the grounding nature of printed goods through Cycles Journal!
Speaking of, I had such a joy hosting a practice circle inside the CM course! Iβm not sure if or when Iβll do it again, because as much as it was a joy it takes a lot of energy out of me to show up live!
However, the replay is up and there forever and I believe itβs just as powerful of a guide. :)
AND I just updated the CM Workbook from 40 pages to 70(!) pages of more immersive practice, visuals, encouragement and guidance <3
And no matter what, you can still have this free meditation!
xoxo,
Rachael :)
p.s. I do wanna give cred that the format of the first drawing was inspired by the artist Britchida who often accompanies a progression of words with abstract representations for them.
p.s.s.
This is what me βrelaxingβ on the couch at the end of the day looks like xD
