We’re in the midst of one big collective trauma reaction rn and shit just seems to be getting more and more concerning and dangerous….
literally teasing martial law, co-opting the creative possibilities of ai for war, deporting legal citizens, projecting transphobia into harmful laws…

May Day has been a day of working class solidarity since the 19th century, and continues to be more important than ever today.
It’s also Beltane - the mid-point between Spring & Summer in the Pagan wheel of the year. A time of coming together, celebrating around our strengths, and collaborating to build a stronger community by and for all.

Remember, if you're unable to take it to the streets or don't feel safe doing so, there is no shame, and there are other ways to protest and be in solidarity at home or from wherever, in your own capacity and way.
Write physical letters to congress, cry, pray, hang signs in your window, gather with loved ones, spread awareness online, etc...

States (a poem)
a state is both a presence and a place
where they tried to apply fixity to an ecosystem in constant change
a state is a mode of being,
not a place stripped of its beings’ meaning.
a true state is a witness of the roots and the origin
meant to be known in tandem only with the present moment
borders and societies, in(ter)dependence inherited
a semblance of protection that in reality creates separation
I want acceptance, not limitations
for all people, states and places.
